What is a Turn-Key System?

A ‘Turn-Key’ system is a computer that has been setup or designed to satisfy all of the client’s needs. For example, many companies require a turn key system for its employees, that has all of the necessary hardware (Graphics Cards, Barcode Readers, Specialist Ancillaries, etc) and software (Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, Till Systems, etc) for the employee(s) to begin working. Because many consumers need to install software (or remove cumbersome bloatware) or customize their computer, most computers are not considered a turn key system.
