Judging a book by its cover
We all do it. We can’t help it. We’re predominantly visual creatures. The wrappers in which things come not only powerfully affect what interests us but also how we react to the contents we find inside. This certainly holds true for companies, which can convince us with professional-looking marketing materials, web sites, and offices that they produce professional-quality work. When promoting your business to potential clients, a clear, responsive website design is a must to ensure potential clients gain the proper impression of the company at first sight. Key information about the company, products & contact details are imperative.
Website Design Update:
As a business you can’t ignore this change in the way people are consuming websites. You need to ensure that your website looks fantastic and offers a flawless user experience on mobile devices (as well as desktop ones). Otherwise you’re going to lose potential business. If your website looks like it’s stuck in the 2000’s, or if your website does not quite work on mobile devices, it may be time to update your website.
You don’t know who is visiting your website:
If you don’t know who’s visiting your website, your strategy has a few issues we need to address. First off, if you don’t know who’s coming to your website, why do you even have one? SNS uses Google Analytics to analyse who is visiting our site, on what type of device, and from where. Once you know who your audience is, you can adjust your content to reach out to the appropriate clients. We can help you strategize and reach the right people. It can be done with a bespoke design, or an update to your current one.
Mobile Friendly Websites:
In July 2015 a report was conducted, concluding that time spent browsing the internet on mobile devices clocks in at 4.3 hours per day (on average) compared with 2.8 hours on desktop devices. At SNS, we have discovered that over 85% of our total website traffic is from Mobile devices, so it is imperative that websites are designed to be user friendly on all devices, with important information displayed clearly for potential clients.
In addition to this, Google currently determines how your website ranks by crawling your website as it appears on a Desktop computer. But in the coming months, this will be changed, so that they crawl your website on a mobile device and determine it’s ranking based on the mobile version of a page. This could mean that if you’re site isn’t mobile-friendly you see a drop in your search engine rankings (Google, Bing etc).
You’re nowhere to be found in search rankings
Being found in the search engines is important. It helps drive traffic to your website and in turn, helps you increase business. Improving how your website ranks depends on several factors:
… The list goes on!
If you’re no where to be found in the results, SNS can help improve your rankings by modifying these factors to increase your search engine rankings for the services you provide.
